Vaccine conversations, transformed.

Learn a powerful, psychology-based approach to build trust and address misinformation: The Empathetic Refutational Interview (ERI).

We train health workers in the ERI to make vaccine conversations better for everyone.

What our trainees say:

A better way to talk about vaccines

Vaccines save lives, but only if people are vaccinated. In a world of misinformation, health workers are still the most trusted group. Just one conversation can powerfully influence a person’s vaccine decisions. But navigating vaccine misinformation can be challenging, not all conversations are effective, and most health workers have minimal training in communication techniques.

Our one-day workshop shows you how to address misinformation to support informed decision-making in a way that is empathetic, effective, and positive. Our training is designed for anyone who has conversations about vaccination. Our trainees range from senior clinicians to administrators, community outreach workers and more.

We build on existing vaccine communication skills with tools, deeper awareness and a proven conversation framework designed specifically for vaccine hesitancy caused by misinformation. Whether you are just starting your career or have 40+ years of experience, you will learn new skills to communicate about vaccines.

“The most potent intervention for increasing vaccine uptake is a health care provider recommendation.” (Brewer 2021).

How that conversation is handled makes all the difference. Our training shows you how.

Connect, build trust, support informed decisions.

We give you the tools to:

Make a difference with every conversation

Our vaccine communication training teaches the evidence-based Empathetic Refutational Interview (ERI) conversation framework. The ERI is unique because it combines psychological science on vaccine hesitancy and misinformation, including behavioural insights and attitudinal research, with proven communication techniques. The four-step framework is designed specifically for health workers navigating challenging vaccine conversations. It’s easy to learn, instantly usable and proven to work.

Handle vaccine communication with confidence

Repeatedly having tough exchanges about vaccination can lead to stress, demotivation, and even moral injury, which can cause people to avoid the topic. Our training improves your experience, teaching how to diffuse arguments, take the heat out of discussions and better connect with people.

You will feel prepared, informed and comfortable to empower others to make vaccine choices based on fact not fallacy. All while building the trust and rapport that is vital to maintaining those important relationships.

We give you the tools to:

Our training helps improve immunisation equity.
